Please make sure that your domain is not on lock before updating the name servers. To see if your domain is locked, log into your account, click on the domain and scroll down to see if there is a lock on the domain. If the domain is locked, then any changes you make will come back as "Invalid Name Server" Also, your domain may be locked at the Registry level which will also cause failure in updating your name servers. Please visit www.registrar.verisign-grs.com/whois/ and do a whois search on the domain to check the status of the domain.
If the domain is Pending Transfer then you will not be able to make name server changes until the domain transfer is complete.

Please be sure to enter the names of the name servers and NOT the IP addresses. Name server names will typically be something like ns1.nameserver.com. You can remove an entered name server by clicking on the "remove" link next to each name server, your password and the name of the account to which you want to move the domain.
